This past weekend Mark Geltch (part of One Friday Skate Ministry) organized a car that was going to go to the dump, to be brought into the parking lot where Skate Church is normally held to be skated and destroyed. It was a great time, its kind of a dream for skaters to skate a car, and even better when someone wants you to skate a car. It was a fun afternoon, no major injuries and Mark shared with the everyone about his mission work in Bali and about who Jesus is and what he has done. Heres some photos from the event. The future plans for the Laser a.k.a. 'Bessie' are to mount steel coping on it for further skating usage, so hopefully this isn't the last anyones seen of her...... Good day.
